Â
- The Pioneers picked up a pair of road wins last week, defeating Central State 97-82 and beating Ohio Valley 85-62 for the team's second conference win.
- Last week's wins were the second time this season that the team won back-to-back games this season. A common theme between those sets of back-to-back victories was the team's ability to get to the free throw line. In both sets of back-to-back victories this season the team has shot 50 free throws or more in the two games. The Pioneers are 5-0 when they shoot 23 free throws or more in single contest.
- Djuro Pantos has come on strong for the Pioneers, picking up double-digit scoring in the past three games. Pantos scored a season-high 16 points at Central State last week.
- Five players scored in double-digits in the team's victory over Central State. Christian Graves lead the team with 26 points, which put him over 1,000 points in his collegiate career. Ty Jordan had a double-double in the contest, scoring 14 points while dishing out 11 assists.
- Four players scored double-digits in the team's conference win over Ohio Valley. Nate Sheppard and Mitch Spotleson lead the way with 21 points apiece.
