The Trojans struck first, grabbing a 1-0 lead a little less than 10 minutes into the first half.
Malone knotted things up 1-1 in the 59th minute as sophomore

Trevecca quickly responded, pulling ahead with a goal in the 65th minute of play and then tacking a third score with just under 10 minutes remaining.
The host Trojans improved to 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the G-MAC with the victory while the Pioneers dropped to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
Malone will look to bounce back on Saturday when the squad travels to Owensboro, Kentucky for a 2:30 p.m. CDT (3:30 p.m. EDT) match against Kentucky Wesleyan College.
