The Malone University Women's Soccer team fell to Great Midwest Athletic Conference opponent Kentucky Wesleyan College by a final score of 1-0 on Saturday. The loss brings the Pioneers to a record of 2-3 on the season and 1-2 in the G-MAC.
The Pioneers attempted 20 shots on the evening, but could not find the back of the net. Malone played a tremendous game on the defensive side of the field. They only allowed Kentucky Wesleyan to attempt 5 shots the entire game. Kelsey Humphries found a way to break the tie with five minutes remaining in the game to give the Panthers the 1-0 victory.
Malone will be back in action Thursday, Sept. 22
nd at Cedarville University. The game will begin at 7:00 p.m.
