The Malone University men's basketball will take on Wilberforce on Wednesday evening. The team moved to .500 this past week with a three-point victory over Bluefield State on Saturday. Ty Jordan led the Pioneers with 23 points in the 70-67 victory. The Pioneers will look to get over that .500 mark on Wednesday evening in their first home game since November 22nd. Jordan is leading the Pioneers in scoring at 15.0 points per game, good enough for fifth in the G-MAC. Jordan's 4.4 assists per game is second in the conference as well. Mitch Spotleson is leading the Pioneers on the boards, grabbing 5.9 rebounds per game. Spotleson and Nate Sheppard are each averaging double-digit scoring along with Jordan.

Wilberforce is coming off a 69-77 loss this past Saturday to Cedarville. However, the team rattled off four straight wins before Saturday's contest. Patrick Mitchell is the clear cut leader of the team. He is scoring 18.8 points per game, grabbing 9.5 rebounds, dishing out 2.6 assists, and snatching up 1.8 steals per game. Mitchell is the team leader in all of the previous categories mentioned. Mitchell has scored 30 points or more three times this season, including 32 points against Cedarville on Saturday. Demon Parker is the only other player scoring in double-digits on the season at 11.2 points per game. Maxime Maisonnet and Malik Breckenridge are each scoring just over nine points per game as well.
