The Pioneers begin a five-game home stand on Monday in a non-conference game against Salem International. After Monday's game the Pioneers will begin their second time through their conference schedule. In their first meetings, Malone lost to Kentucky Wesleyan 1-0 and lost to Trevecca Nazarene 3-1. Both of those first meetings were on the road. Look for the Pioneers to get going on a roll on this much needed home stand.

Salem International comes into this week's game against the Pioneer still looking to score their first goal on the season. The Tigers will be well-rested for Monday's game with a nine-game break since their last game, which was a 7-0 loss to Roberts Wesleyan.

The Panthers went 0-1-1 this past week, with a 3-3 tie against Cedarville and a 1-0 loss against Trevecca Nazarene. Kentucky Wesleyan has just two wins on the season. However one of those victories came against the Pioneers in a 1-0 shutout on September 17th on Kentucky Wesleyan's home field. The Panthers are lead offensively by Breigh Haase and Kelsey Humphries, who have two goals apiece on the season. Taylor Rentchler, the goal keeper for Kentucky Wesleyan, has three shutout s on the season. Her shutouts have resulted in both of the Panthers' victories this year as well as a 0-0 tie with Ursuline.

The Trojans have had a tremendous first half of the season. They are currently in second place in the G-MAC, trailing only Ursuline. Trevecca has not lost since September 17th, which was a 2-1 loss against Ursuline. Before Trevecca travels to Malone to take on the Pioneers Saturday, they will have a rematch against Ursuline on Thursday. The Trojans are lead offensively by Chelsey Russom, who is currently ranked second in the G-MAC with six goals on the season. Eight other players for the Trojans have at least one goal this season as well. Liz Denton, the goal keeper for Trevecca, has six shutout victories this season, which is the most in the conference.
