The Pioneers look to get the season sweep on Ohio Valley this week and get a little payback on Cedarville. In their first meeting Malone defeated Ohio Valley 2-1 at Ohio Valley. Cedarville defeated Malone 1-0 at Cedarville in their first meeting. Last week
Christine Najjar had a great week, scoring three goals against Salem International and two more against Kentucky Wesleyan. She is currently leading the conference in goals on the season with nine.
Brianna Smith racked up three more assists last week as well. She is currently second in the conference in assists with five on the season. With a couple wins this week the Pioneers could potentially move up one or two spots in the G-MAC standings.

The Fighting Scots have had a rough start to their season so far. They have been shutout six times so far this season. However, their lone win this season was against the #2 in the conference, Ursuline. Ohio Valley gave Malone a tough battle in their first bout. The Pioneers prevailed 2-1 thanks to a goal by
Christine Najjar in the last five minute of the game. The Scots are lead offensively by Jennifer Medina who has four goals on the season. Andrea Ortiz-borray and Laura Diaz have combined for Ohio Valley's other three goals on the season. Kim Mora is the goal keeper for Ohio Valley. She has 74 saves on the season, which leads the conference.

In Cedarville's first meeting with Malone this season, which was at Cedarville, the Yellow Jackets beat the Pioneers in a close 1-0 game.
