Malone Notes:
-Josh Jones enters his second-year as the Pioneers' head coach.
-The Pioneers are returning 13 players from last year's squad, seven of which started 12 or more games.
-Malone is coming off a 3-1 loss to Seton Hill University (PA) on Tuesday. Brianna Smith scored Malone's lone goal of the game, while Christine Najjar was credited with the assist.
-Christine Najjar is leading the Pioneers thus far with six goals and three assists (15 points) and is currently second in the GLIAC in goals (six) and points (15). She needs just one more goal to tie for 12th on Malone's all-time career scoring list.  
-Brianna Smith needs two more goals to tie for 12th on Malone's all-time career scoring list.
-Corrin Hayberg currently leads the Pioneers and ranks sixth in the GLIAC with four assists
-Freshman goalie Leah Rauscher has tallied 57 saves on the season. She is currently third in the GLIAC in saves (57) and has recorded two shutouts this season. 
-Malone currently stands in sixth place in the GLIAC standings.

Northern Michigan Notes:
-Matt Granstrand is entering his 11th season as the Wildcats' head coach. He has compiled a 101-83-19 record during his time at Northern Michigan.
-Sophomore Paula Hafner led the 2014 NMU squad with 14 goals and three assists (31 points).
-Northern Michigan lost 3-1 in the GLIAC Quarterfinals to Ohio Dominican University last season.
-The Wildcats are returning 19 players from last year's squad, eight of which started 16 or more games.
-The Wildcats have four players with one goal each so far this season.
-NMU currently stands in last place in the GLIAC standings.
 
Michigan Tech Notes:
-Michelle Jacob is entering her fifth year as the Huskies head coach. She has compiled a 55-33-6 record during her time at MTU.
-The Huskies are returning 19 players from last year's squad, seven of which started 12 or more games.
-Michigan Tech's leading scorer in 2014 was sophomore Jacqueline Mielke who finished the season with nine goals and three assists (21 points).
-Michigan Tech lost 5-0 to Grand Valley State University (MI) in the GLIAC Tournament Semifinals last season. In addition, the Huskies loss 2-1 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to Bellarmine University (KY) last season.
-The leading scorer thus far for MTU is junior Jacqueline Mielka who has six goals and three assists (15 points) and is third in the GLIAC in points (15).
-Michigan Tech currently stands in eighth place in the GLIAC standings.
