Dragons Top Pioneers on Sunday Afternoon

The Malone University men's soccer team lost at home to Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) NCAA DII #16 Tiffin University 3-0 on Sunday afternoon.

The Dragons scored their first goal off a penalty shot in the 13th minute of the first half to take an early 1-0 lead.  Within the next 23 minutes, the Dragons went on to score their second goal to increase the lead 2-0.

The score would remain 2-0 at the half.

It was a physical and aggressive second half by both teams, but the Dragons managed to score their third and final goal in the 60th minute. All three goals came from Tiffin's leading scorer Andre Landell.

Goalie Jon Crabbs tied his season-high of 11 saves on the afternoon.

The Pioneers are now 1-7-1 overall and 0-6-1 in the GLIAC.
