Malone University Athletics

2014: Akindipe played and started all 16 games for the Pioneers… Finished first on the team in points (three goals, one assist) and was second in minutes played (1,362)… Had a season-high two goals in Malone’s 7-0 victory against Ohio Valley (WV)… Tied fifth on the team in shot attempts (16)... Named to the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association's 2014 All-Ohio NCAA Division II Teams.

Prior To Malone: Akindipe joins the Pioneer family after transferring from NCAA Division I Niagara University. He was a three-year letter-winner for the Purple Eagles where he helped them to their first ever Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) title and NCAA tournament appearance in 2012. Prior to his time at Niagara, Akindipe was a three-year letter winner at the Rock School in Gainesville, Florida, leading them to a District Championship and earning Team MVP honors.  He then moved up to Ohio where he led Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy to an OHSAA Division II State Championship in his lone year playing for the school.  Akindipe, who played his club soccer for Leg A-Z Soccer Academy in Florida and then Ambassadors FC in Ohio, was a three-year member of the Florida State Olympic Development Program (ODP) and one-year member of the Region 3 ODP Team.
