The Malone University men's soccer team lost its Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) road contest to the University of Findlay by a final score of 5-0 on Sunday afternoon.
It was a tightknit first half as the score was 0-0 until Ryan Poyle of Findlay knocked the ball into the left side of the net to take an early 1-0 lead with three minutes remaining in the half. The score stayed at 1-0 going into intermission.
The Oilers came out with momentum after the break, scoring their second goal three minutes into the second half to take a 2-0 advantage. They would go on to add three goals in the last 16 minutes of the game.
