The Malone University men's soccer team lost its Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) road contest to the University of Findlay by a final score of 5-0 on Sunday afternoon.

It was a tightknit first half as the score was 0-0 until Ryan Poyle of Findlay knocked the ball into the left side of the net to take an early 1-0 lead with three minutes remaining in the half. The score stayed at 1-0 going into intermission.

The Oilers came out with momentum after the break, scoring their second goal three minutes into the second half to take a 2-0 advantage. They would go on to add three goals in the last 16 minutes of the game.

Goalie Jon Crabbs had six saves on the afternoon.

Malone returns to action on Friday, October 24^th as they host GLIAC opponent Ohio Dominican University. Kick-off will be at 3:30 p.m.
