Givens helped the Pioneer softball team register a 2-3 record last week after batting .625 (10-for-16) with four doubles, a homer and nine RBI's.

The freshman second baseman from Louisville, Ohio (Louisville H.S.) posted at least one base hit in all five contests to stretch her current hitting streak to ten games.  Givens accounted for all of Malone's runs in a 4-0 victory at Point Park University on Wednesday, breaking a scoreless tie in the top of the fifth inning with a two-out grand slam.  She then went 3-for-4 at the plate with three RBI's in a narrow 6-5 loss at Cedarville University on Saturday.

Through Malone's first 18 games, Givens is batting an incredible .500 (28-of-56) with 11 doubles and 19 RBI's.
