Carbajal, a senior from Dublin, Ohio (Scioto H.S.), helped the Pioneer men's cross country team earn a berth in the 2015 NCAA Division II National Championships after he placed 17th overall at the Midwest Regional Championship Meet this past Saturday.

Carbajal collected All-Region honors with his Top 25 finish as he blazed through the 10-kilometer course in a time of 31:32. As a team, Malone placed fourth among the 29 Midwest Region institutions.

The Pioneers will travel to Joplin, Missouri to compete in Nationals on Saturday, November 21st.
