Suitca led the Pioneers to a 3-4 record last week by batting .545 (12-for-22) with a pair of doubles and seven RBI’s.
 
The senior third baseman from Homeworth, Ohio (Marlington H.S.) tallied at least one base hit in all seven of Malone’s games last week.  Suitca went 4-for-4 at the plate in the Pioneers’ 3-2, extra-inning win at Lake Erie on Friday, driving in the go-ahead run in the top of the 10th with a one-out RBI single.
 
On the season, Suitca currently leads the GLIAC with a .407 batting average.  Malone's clean-up hitter also ranks third in the conference in on-base percentage (.491) while ranking fifth in slugging percentage (.524) and eighth in RBI’s (30).
