Johnnie Legrair returns the Pioneer volleyball staff this fall and will serve as a graduate assistant coach while pursuing a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership.
Legrair graduated from Malone in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in History. During his time as a student at the University, Legrair was a four-year member of the Pioneers’ varsity track & field team and also organized and operated Malone’s men’s volleyball club team.
A 2008 graduate of Copley High School, Legrair earned a four-year varsity award in track & field and currently holds Copley’s 110-meter hurdle record.  During his senior year, he consistently finished first in four events throughout regular-season competition and then went on to the OHSAA State Track & Field Championships where he placed sixth in the 110-meter hurdles.
In addition to previously serving as a student assistant and volunteer assistant for Coach Hockman, Legrair’s coaching resume also includes experience with Copley High School's freshman volleyball and track & field teams.
