Erin Miller

Erin Miller starts her first season as an assistant coach for the women's soccer program heading into the 2020-21 season. Miller works as a Biology teacher at GlenOak High School in Canton, OH.

Prior to Malone, Miller was previously an assistant varsity and head JV coach for the GlenOak Golden Eagles women's soccer team from 2016-2019. Miller also coached at her alma mater Houghton College in 2014 and 2015, where she helped lead the Highlanders to a Final Four appearance in the NCCAA Championships in 2014. She was under head coach David Lewis, who at the time of writing, holds the NAIA record for most wins in women's soccer history (326) and is in the top 10 for best winning percentage (.792). Miller assisted in leading soccer camps at Houghton for high school students and was also a Program Director at Skyview Ranch, a Christian cummer camp in Millersburg, Ohio. 

As a student-athlete, Miller was a four-year starter and two-year team captain for the Highlanders and won numerous outstanding awards. In 2013, Miller was named to the NCCAA National Tournament Team, Second Team All-Conference, First Team All-Region, was the Empire 8 assists and assists per game leader, won the Empire 8 President's Award and was a Sportswoman of the Year recipient. Miller played in a national tournament all four years of college (NAIA 2010 & 2011; NCCAA 2012 & 2013). 

In the classroom, Miller was an NSCAA All-America Scholar Athlete and All-Conference Scholar Athlete in 2012 and 2013. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biology from Houghton and went on to earn her Master's degree in Secondary Education in 2016 at Valparaiso University with a 4.0 GPA.
