Jeremy Duerr begins his first season on both the men's and women's basketball coaching staffs at Malone University in 2010-11. After an outstanding two seasons on the Pioneer men's basketball team (08-09, 09-10), Duerr will serve as a graduate assistant on the Malone women's basketball coaching staff and as a volunteer assistant on the Pioneer men's basketball staff (including also helping with the first Malone junior varsity squad).
Duerr, of Uniontown and a graduate of Lake High School, transferred to Malone from Ashland University in 2008 and made an immediate impact at the point guard position, starting in 54 of his 58 games played at Malone. He led the team in assists in both of his two seasons as a Pioneer, tallying 154 career assists. He also amassed 437 career points (7.5 avg.)
