2017: Lauer played in 20 games for the Pioneers, including 13 starts…Hit .273 (9-for-33) with a .351 OBP…Tallied seven hits, one RBI, and one stolen base…Collected a season-high two hits, including a double, in a win over Davis & Elkins (4/9/17)…Went 2-for-2 against D&E in a G-MAC Tournament game (5/6/17)...G-MAC All-Academic

2016: Lauer appeared in 30 games, while starting 24 as a right fielder for the Pioneers… Notched nine hits, eight runs scored, and a double… Went a perfect 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts… Collected 23 putouts and recorded a .958 fielding percentage… Recorded her first college career hit in Malone’s 2-0 victory against Brevard College (NC)… Her best hitting game of the season was in Malone’s 6-3 victory at Point Park University (PA), going 3-for-4 at the plate, one RBI, and tallying her first career double.

Prior to Malone: Lauer, a 5'4" shortstop from Canton, Ohio (GlenOak High School), participated in volleyball and softball while at GlenOak and was a three-time letter-winner in softball. In the classroom, she was a member of the National Honor Society and is an Honor Roll student. Lauer plans on pursuing a degree in Nursing at Malone.
