Biography

Sophomore Season (2022): Smith started in 16 games for the Pioneers. She batted .268 with 11 hits, 5 runs scored, 4 RBIs and 2 home runs. Playing behind the plate she posted a .980 fielding percentage and threw out six 'would be' base stealers. 

Freshman Season (Wheeling University): Smith appeared in 15 games and made 10 starts for the Cardinals. She had three hits, including one double, and two RBIs. 

High School: Smith was a four-year letterwinner at Mogadore High School. She was a three-time PTC All-Conference honoree, including a first team honoree in 2019. Smith was a four-time PTC Scholar-Athlete, and a two-time Ohio High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete. Off the field she was a member of the National Honor Society. 

Personal: Majoring in Primary Education and Intervention Specialist.
