2020: In a Coronavirus-shortened 2020 season, Sampsel started three games and made four total appearances for the Pioneers... Hit her first collegiate homerun against Wayne State (NE)... Recorded two RBIs, one run and one walk... Made eight putouts and one assist defensively... Named G-MAC All-Academic Team

2019: Sampsel appeared in 28 games as a sophomore, making 26 starts (18 as a DP, six as a pitcher, and two in left field)…Batted .242 with 16 hits, eight runs scored, and five runs batted in…Registered four multi-hit games…Collected two hits, including her first collegiate double, and a season-high two RBI at Kentucky Wesleyan (3/22/19)…Pitched in seven games, posting a 2-3 record…Recorded a 5.11 ERA with four strikeouts in 24.2 innings pitched…Tossed first collegiate complete game shutout against Nyack (3/7/19), allowing just four hits over seven innings in a 1-0 victory... Named G-MAC All-Academic Team

2018: Played in 13 games as a freshman with the Pioneers, making nine appearances (four starts) as a pitcher and four starts in right field…Batted 3-for-15 on the season…Collected first collegiate hit and RBI in a win over Walsh (4/13/18)…Posted a 2-2 record as a pitcher with a 4.52 ERA and eight strikeouts over 26.1 innings pitched…Threw four innings of scoreless relief to earn first collegiate victory in 4-2 extra-innings win over Briar Cliff (3/5/18)…Allowed one hit and one unearned run over four innings to earn the win in her first collegiate start against Ohio Valley (3/8/18)…Pitched a season-high five innings in a start over Ohio Dominican (4/2/18)

Prior to Malone: Sampsel, a four-year letterwinner at Norwayne, was named First Team All-Wayne County Athletic League after posting a 10-4 mark in the circle with 86 strikeouts while batting .369 with 25 runs scored during her senior season. Sampsel, an Honor Roll student, was also named All-Wooster Daily Record four times in her career, including a First Team distinction as a senior.
