2017: Johnson appeared in 23 games, primarily as a pinch runner and utility infielder…Made nine starts at third base, two at second base, and two at shortstop…Scored seven runs on the season and recorded one RBI

2016: Johnson appeared in 23 games, while starting eight as a pinch runner and a right fielder… Notched her first career hit in Malone’s 9-2 victory over Robert Morris University- Springfield (IL)… Tallied one RBI and eight runs scored… Collected eight putouts and five assists.

Prior to Malone: Johnson, a 5'7" shortstop from Bluffon, Indiana (Bluffton High School), played both volleyball and softball and was a four-time letter-winner in both sports.  She was named ACAC All-Conference for three years and was voted to the All-District Team in 2015. In addition, she batted .518 for the 2015 season, resulting in a career average of .380. Johnson boasts a career on-base percentage of .440 and currently holds the school record for batting average, hits and runs scored in a season.  Along with her softball honors, she also excelled on the volleyball court, twice receiving ACAC All Conference accolades while also collecting All Northeast Indiana Honorable Mention recognition.  During her time at Bluffon, she was a member of the National Honor Society for two years and finished in the top 5% of her class with a 3.8 GPA. Johnson was a Wells County Foundation Scholar as well as an Allen County Athletic Conference Scholar Athlete for four years. She currently plans on pursuing a degree in Zoo and Wildlife Biology at Malone.
