Biography

2015: Ward appeared in 16 games while starting 10 as the pitcher for the Pioneers… Saw action in 57.2 innings in the circle… Played in 11 games while starting eight as a hitter… Collected six hits, five RBIs, two and two doubles… Had her best hitting game was against Point Park (PA) by going 2-for-3, tallying two RBIs, scoring two runs and a double (3-18-15).

Prior to Malone: Four-year letter winner in softball, three-year letter winner in basketball and one-year letter winner in cross country…captained both the soccer and basketball teams…named All-League in both softball and basketball and Honorable Mention All-CIF (California Interscholastic Federation) in softball…recipient of the Coach's Award in softball…helped guide her team to the 2013 league championship and was part of the CIF Runner-up team in 2011…two-time All-Academic team in softball and baseball and one-time All-Academic team in cross country…has not decided on a major.
