2016:  Astalos started all 16 games in his senior season with the Pioneers…Led the team in goals (4), points (9), shots (27), and shots on goal (14)…Scored the game-winning goal in Malone’s 2-1 win over Kentucky Wesleyan (10/6/16)…Tallied goals against Davis & Elkins (9/10/16), Cedarville (9/28/16), and a senior-day goal vs. Alderson Broaddus (10/22/16)…Notched his lone assist of the season vs. Ohio Valley (10/12/16)...G-MAC All-Academic

2015: Astalos appeared and started all 16 games as a forward for the Pioneers… Collected 12 points (six goals) on the season… Had a season-high four points (two goals) in Malone’s 3-1 victory at Walsh University (9/14/15)… Scored one goal each at Ohio Dominican University, Tiffin University (one at home and one away), and the University of Findlay… Finished seventh on the team in minutes played (1,370)… Named to the All-GLIAC Honorable Mention Team...GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team

2014: Astalos played in 16 games while starting 12 for the Pioneers… Finished the season with five points (two goals, one assist)…Had a season-high three points (one goal, one assist) in Malone’s 7-0 victory against Ohio Valley (WV), where he also scored his first college goal… Scored his second goal in Malone’s 1-1 tie at Lake Erie College (9/26/14)… Finished fourth on the team in shot attempts (22)... Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team. 

Prior To Malone: played his club soccer for Ambassadors F.C…led club team to the 2012 Ohio North State Cup championship…2012 USYS Region II Runner-up…three-year letter winner at Kenston in soccer…ranks third on school’s all-time career goals list with 50…ranks first on all-time goals in a single season list with 26 as a senior…led team in scoring all three years…also tallied 12 career assists…three-time All-ChagrinValley Conference Team (Honorable Mention as a sophomore and First Team as a junior and senior)…Chagrin Valley Conference Division MVP and Chagrin Valley Conference All-Academic Team as a senior…three-time All-Greater Cleveland selection (Honorable Mention as a sophomore and junior and First Team as a senior)…OSSCA Academic All-Ohio selection…winner of his team’s Offensive MVP award all three years…Team MVP as a junior and senior…selected Plain Dealer Player of the Week and News Herald Player of the Week…Plain Dealer Special Mention as a senior…News Herald First Team selection as a senior and News Herald Honor Roll selection as a junior…two-time All-Sun News East Team selection
