Sophomore Season (2021): Named to the Great Midwest Academic All-Conference Team... Schmidt appeared in fourteen games and made three starts for Malone. Overall he totaled 329 minutes on the pitch as a sophomore.

Freshman Season (Spring 2021): Named to the Great Midwest Academic All-Conference Team... The COVID-19 pandemic forced the Pioneers to play an abbreviated championship season during the 2021 spring semester. Schmidt made his collegiate debut on April 8 in Malone's 2-0 win over Trevecca Nazarene.

Prior To Malone: Schmidt graduated from Morrison Academy in Taiwan where he was born and raised. Before coming to Malone, Schmidt had a well-rounded high school career while playing basketball, soccer, and competed in track & field. He achieved all 4 varsity letters in track and soccer and 3 letters in basketball.  Myles achieved a lot with his athletic life. In track, Myles was the ACSL Outstanding Male Athlete and also a two-time TISSA Discus Champion. In soccer, Schmidt held a season assist record as well as achieve second in the All-Time Assists and All-Time Goals. He participated in all four TISSA Soccer Championships and achieved a three-time TISSA All-Tournament Team.

Personal: Majoring in Excercise Science and Pre-Occupational Therapy with a minor in Psychology. On campus Schmidt is a Student Ambassador as well as a member of both Visio and the Worship Team. He has also been named to the Dean' List.
