Treg Lunger returns to his alma mater for his second year as a member of the Pioneer men’s soccer coaching staff.

A native of Columbiana, Ohio, Lunger was a four-year member of the Pioneer men’s soccer squad. During his playing career, he scored one goal and two assists, while earning the 2013 OCSA All-Ohio First Team distinction.  He was also a two-time (2012-2013) GLIAC All-Academic Team honoree as a defender for the Pioneers.

His coaching resume includes serving with the Strikers Soccer Club and as an instructor for the Pioneer Soccer Schools.

In December of 2013, he graduated from Malone with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science.

Lunger is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Organizational Leadership at Malone.
