Patrick Alvarez joined the men's soccer coaching staff in the summer of 2022 after a highly decorated playing career for the Pioneers.
Over the course of four seasons, Alvarez played in 56 matches and made 51 starts for Malone. He scored eight total goals, including a career high three in the 2020-21 campaign.Â
After scoring two goals and totaling one assist in 2018, Alvarez was named Great Midwest Honorable Mention All-Conference.Â
Off the pitch Alvarez was involved with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for all four years. He was the organization's Event Planner in 2020-21, and served as the Vice President during the 2021-22 academic year.Â
Patrick's coaching experience includes working as an assistant with Canton McKinley High School in the fall of 2020.
Alvarez graduated from Malone University in May of 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management with a minor in Coaching.
