Ciornei has served as the Cleveland Force goalkeeping director since 2018 and Cleveland Force USL2 and W league goalkeeping coach.
He has 10 years of professional experience with Cleveland FORCE and Cleveland CRUNCH and is a two-time NPSL champion. In the last 20 years, 100% of his students have continued their playing career at the collegiate level. He has coached Charlie Horton, a goalkeeper at Leeds United England, Brad Stuver at Cleveland State University, who for the first time in school history, was selected as the number one keeper drafted in the 2013 MLS super draft and Alec Ferrell, who was drafted as the number one goalkeeper in the 2017 MLS super draft and was the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) champion at Wake Forest University.
He has coached over 100 goalkeepers that have been recruited by colleges from his private academy, Ciornei Goalkeeping Academy.
