Brock Kertoy was announced as the Malone University men's soccer coach in March of 2020. He will begin his first season on the Pioneer sidelines this fall.
Prior to coming to Malone, Kertoy's most recent coaching stint was at NCAA Division II Ashland University where he served as the assistant women's soccer coach from 2014-18. The Eagles won 58 matches during his tenure. Kertoy also served as the goalkeeper coach for the men's program from 2016-18. During the 2018 season, he helped Ashland produce the GLIAC Goalkeeper of the Year for both men's and women's soccer.
Kertoy's extensive coaching resume features stops at Hiram College and Wayne State College in Nebraska. He was also the Associate Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel for AFC Cleveland from 2013-15. A man after God's own heart, Kertoy is deeply involved in ministry and has worked as an administrator for the Garden City Church in Akron over the past year.
Kertoy graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's in Business Management with a concentration in human resources. He went on to earn his MBA with concentrations in leadership development and non-profit management from Ashland.
Brock resides in Akron with his wife Jenna and son Judah.

Kertoy takes over a Malone team that went 4-7-6 last fall and advanced to the postseason for the first time since 2012.
