Biography

2019: In his sophomore campaign, Durand started in 13 matches, totaling 1,228 minutes played... Held a record of 2-5-5 and tallied two shutouts versus Kentucky Weslyean (10/19/19) and Walsh (11/5/19)... Allowed only 16 goals on 165 shots faced and accumulated 62 saves... Total save percentage of .795 for the season... Made a season-high eight saves in a 0-0 draw at Walsh to clinch berth into the G-MAC Tournament (11/5/19)... Named G-MAC All-Academic Team

2018: Durand made 15 starts in goal for the Pioneers and led the team in minutes played with 1,454… Held a 6-9-1 record with 3 shutouts… Tallied 87 saves on 141 shots faced (.784 save percentage)... Held rival Walsh without a goal in a 1-0 Pioneer victory (9/15/18)... Recorded six saves in a 1-0 shutout win versus Findlay (9/27/18).

Prior to Malone: Durand competed for Dijon Fco Academy in France's Ligue 1 and, in 2016, was named one of France's 30 best goalkeepers in his age group.  Durand appeared in 37 games in France's U17 National Championship while also competing in six games during the U19 Championships.
