2021-22 will be the first season for Colton Everett on staff at Malone University.
Everett came to Malone after spending five seasons at Charleston Southern University. He was the Director of Basketball Operations for the last four years and prior to that was the Bucs’ video coordinator for one year.
Prior to CSU, Everett spent two seasons as a graduate assistant at Hawaii Pacific University. He assisted in all aspects of HPU’s program, including recruiting, scheduling and film breakdown.
Everett played two years of college basketball at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio. He helped his team to a 42-19 record and was named team captain as a sophomore.
While at Sinclair, Everett completed an internship with the men’s basketball team at nearby Wright State University. He was responsible for videotaping, organizing emails and assisting with drills during practice.Â
A native of Ottawa, Ohio, Everett earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports and Leisure from Ohio State University. Everett is married to the former Cady Lauf of Ottawa, Ohio and they have a newborn girl, Lexington.
