Biography

2020: Mills appeared in three games and made one start for the Pioneers in a Coronavirus-shortened season... Held an 0-1 record with 7.0 innings pitched and 10 punchouts... Recorded a three-inning save with six strikeouts in a 9-3 win over Seton Hill (2/22/20).

2019: Pitched in two games, including one start, before going down with a season-ending injury…Went 0-1 on the season, tossing 4.2 innings with two strikeouts

2018: Did not play (redshirt)

2017: Mills appeared in two games before suffering a season-ending injury…Tossed 1.2 innings and charted one strikeout

2016: Mills appeared in 10 games, garnering one start for the Pioneers...totaled 17 strikeouts in 17.1 innings pitched

2015: Mills appeared in 12 games as a relief pitcher for the Pioneers…  Pitched in 15 innings and had seven strikeouts… Appeared in his first game as a Pioneer on 2/27/15 against Sul Ross State (TX)…  Saw the most action against Mary (ND), pitching five innings and tossing two strikeouts.  

Prior to Malone: Mills was an accomplished three-sport star at Indian Valley High School, earning letters and accolades in baseball, golf, and basketball. In addition to being a Principals' Athletic Conference-7 (PAC-7) First Team selection in baseball, Mills also was twice selected to the All-PAC First Team in basketball and golf, and was the PAC Player of the Year in golf. He will major in Nursing at Malone.
