Biography

2016: Davis started all 51 games for the Pioneers at catcher and designated hitter...Finished first on the team in doubles (16), second in batting average (.361), on-base percentage (.431), slugging percentage (.567), and homeruns (7),  third in RBI (38), and fourth in runs (38)...Had 21 multi-hit games, a 12 game hitting streak, and reached base in 46 of 51 games...Homered twice and drove in four runs in Malone's 10-9 win over Tiffin (4/24/2016)...Hit a first-inning grand slam against Northwood (4/2/2016)...Named to the GLIAC All-Tournament Team 

2015: Davis played and started in 50 games as a catcher and as a designated hitter for the Pioneers… Finished first on the team in doubles (16) and RBIs (45), second in slugging percentage (.470), and fourth in batting average .326… Had the best game of the season against Indiana Wesleyan, going 3-for-4 at the plate, four RBI’s, two doubles and a triple in Malone’s 15-10 victory… Had a season high six RBI’s in Malone’s 10-0 victory against Ohio Dominican on 4/2/15… Went on an 11 game hitting streak, which tied second best on the team… Reached on base for 11 straight games…  Was named to the All-GLIAC Honorable Mention Team… Named to the 2015 Daktronics/Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association All-Midwest Region Baseball Team.

2014: Davis appeared in 35 games while starting 33 for the Pioneers… Finished second on the team in batting average (.347), RBIs (22) and slugging percentage (.466)… Scored 11 runs and tied first on the team in homeruns (3)… Had a season-high seven RBIs at Lake Erie College (5/1/14)… Blasted two homeruns at Lake Erie for a season-high (5/1/14). .. Named All-GLIAC Second Team.   

2013: Hit .248 with 26 hits and seven doubles...had two three-hit performances…set a career-high with four rbi’s against Benedictine Springfield (IL)…Hit his first career home run in a win over Peru State (NE).

Prior to Malone: 2011 graduate of McKinley… catcher… three-year letterman…two years All-Federal League (2009, 2010)…National Honor Society
