Biography

2020: In a Coronavirus-shortened season, Bennett started all eight games at second base for the Pioneers... Collected her first career hit against the defending NCAA DII national champions Augustana... Drew a walk versus Lewis... Defensively, Bennett recorded 21 putouts and 16 assists... Named G-MAC All-Academic Team

Prior to Malone: Bennett was a team captain and starting third baseman on the 2019 OHSAA Division I State Champion Louisville Leopards team. She was also a 2018 district runner-up. In the classroom, Bennett was a four-year academic letter winner, a member of student council and National Honor Society. Bennett graduated with honors and Summa Cum Laude. She plans on majoring in early childhood education with a minor in coaching upon arriving at Malone.
