2018: Made 14 relief appearances during his senior season...Recorded a 4.20 ERA with 18 strikeouts over 15 innings pitched…Collected nine scoreless outings…Earned a win after pitching a scoreless frame against Lake Erie (5/5/18) on Senior Day…Threw a season-high three innings and tallied a season-high three strikeouts against Hillsdale in the G-MAC Championship (5/11/18)...G-MAC All-Academic

2017: Ballay appeared in 11 games as a reliever for the Pioneers…Tallied nine strikeouts in 9.1 innings pitched...G-MAC All-Academic

2016: Ballay appeared in 12 games while starting three for the Pioneers...struck out 14 batters in 18.1 innings pitched...Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team

2015: Ballay appeared in 11 games while starting eight games as a pitcher for the Pioneers…  Pitched in 54.1 innings and tossed 36 strikeouts, which was the third best on the team… Finished the season with a 2.82 ERA… Pitched a season high eight innings in Malone’s 5-2 victory against Division II #21 ranked Ashland University (4/26/15)… Named GLIAC South Pitcher of the Week after his impressive performance against Findlay by limiting them to just two hits, yielding three unearned runs while striking out five (4/13/15).

Prior to Malone: Served as his team's number two pitcher as a junior, posting a 5-1 record, 1.98 earned run average, and a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 2.62. His success on the mound helped guide McDowell to a District 10 Championship. His Summer-Legion team also won the Region 8 championships with Ballay being named to the Region 8 All-Tournament Team.
