2025 will be the second year for Gingerich on the staff after having a successful playing career for the Pioneers across the last six years.

Gingerich played a total of 204 games for the Pioneers.  Excelling as a smooth operator in the infield, he had a career batting average of .340 and totaled 260 hits, 183 runs, 37 doubles, 14 triples, and 94 RBI over his career.  He currently holds the Malone Record for career stolen bases with 130 and Runs scored with 183.

After his final season, Gingerich amassed several honors for his superb season.  He was named to the G-MAC All Conference Team after co-leading the league in hits (83) and finishing second in batting average (.437).  He was also an NCCAA First Team All-Midwest Region recipient, a Third Team All-American, and was named to the NCAA Division II’s All-Region First Team.

As a high schooler, the Berlin, Ohio native helped Hiland High School to a Division III state championship in 2016 and a state runner-up finish in 2017.  He also earned All-Ohio Honorable Mention honors in 2017.
