Sarbaugh begins his eighth season on the Pioneer coaching staff in 2025 following a standout playing career at Malone from 2014-2017.

Sarbaugh, a first baseman, played in 112 career games and posted a .272 batting average with 40 career RBI. As a senior in 2017, Sarbaugh captained a Pioneer team that finished with the best record since moving to Division II at 35-18. Sarbaugh played and started in all 53 games with a line of .293, 26 RBI, 13 doubles, 31 runs scored and a .395 on base percentage.

Prior to becoming a Pioneer, Coach Sarbaugh was a standout at North Canton Hoover High School. As a Viking, Sarbaugh was a four-year starter posting a .405 career batting average while being named to the All Federal League as a junior and senior.

Coach Sarbaugh graduated from Malone in 2017 with a degree in Integrated Social Studies and completed his MBA in 2021.  He currently resides in Uniontown, Ohio with his wife Gianna.
