2007 Malone graduate Josh Spencer joins the Pioneer baseball coaching staff in 2012 as the squad’s strength and conditioning coach. Spencer competed as a starting outfielder for Malone during the 2006 and 2007 campaigns, compiling a .320 career batting average with 77 runs scored, 60 RBI’s and 20 stolen bases.
He was a key component of the Pioneers’ 2006 NCCAA National Championship team and garnered All-AMC (American Mideast Conference) First Team honors following both of his seasons in a Malone uniform.
Spencer currently works full-time as a fitness coach with P90X and the well-known Beachbody program, recently earning the Top Beachbody Coach 2010 award out of over 50,000 coaches in the Beachbody network.
Josh and his wife Melinda, who also works as a full-time fitness coach, currently reside in Canton.
