Jon Crank begins his ninth year on the Pioneer coaching staff in 2025 after a standout four-year playing career with the Pioneers from 2013-2016. 

Crank was twice named All-GLIAC Honorable Mention, earning the honor a second time during his senior season in which he hit .289 with a team-high 11 homeruns and 44 RBI. Over his four years, Crank hit .283 with 15 homeruns and 124 RBI. He also registered a .392 on-base percentage and is the Pioneers all-time walks leader with 119 free passes.

Jon graduated from Malone in 2016 with degrees in Sport Management and Business Administration and completed his MBA in 2019.

Jon and his wife Marissa and their daughter Brooklyn reside in Massillon, Ohio.
