2018: Specht made 20 relief appearances during his sophomore season, second-most on the team…Posted a 2-3 record with a 3.90 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 32.1 innings pitched…Led the team and tied for fifth in the G-MAC with five saves…Allowed just one hit over three scoreless frames to earn first collegiate save against Mary (3/5/18)…Matched a season-high with three strikeouts over a season-high 3.1 innings in a win over Davis & Elkins (3/31/18)…Collected saves against Hillsdale (4/7/18), Tiffin (4/11/18), nationally-ranked Ohio Dominican (4/13/18), and Walsh (4/21/18)

Prior to Malone: As a senior at Jackson High School, Specht compiled an 8-0 record with a 0.81 ERA and 47 strikeouts in 43 innings pitched. Named First Team All-Federal League, First Team All-Stark County, First Team All-District, and First Team All-Ohio. Three-year letterman and a member of Jackson's 2014 State Championship Team.
