Biography

2020: In a Coronavirus-shortened season, Yoder appeared in nine games and made eight starts at catcher for the Pioneers... Hit .148 (4-for-27) at the plate with one RBI and one run scored... Made 64 putouts and six assists defensively... Named G-MAC All-Academic Team

2019: Yoder played in 21 games, including 19 starts behind the plate…Batted .218 with 12 hits, including a triple…Collected 12 RBI, seven runs scored, 10 walks, and a .353 OBP…Recorded first collegiate hit against Quincy (2/22/19)…Registered first career RBI against Davenport (3/1/19)…Produced four multi-RBI and three multi-hit games…Finished with a season-high three hits, three RBI and two runs scored in a win over Tiffin (3/2/19)…Collected first career XBH and three RBI in win over Assumption (3/4/19)... Named G-MAC All-Academic Team

Prior to Malone: Yoder played catcher for a Berlin Hiland team that went 61-3 over his junior and seniors and captured the 2016 State Championship. He was named Second Team All-Ohio as well as First Team All-District and First Team All-Inter-Valley Conference. Bryan joins his brother Clyde on the Pioneer roster.
