2015: Wells appeared and started in 50 games as a center fielder for the Pioneers… Finished first on the team in batting average (.344), runs scored (47), triples (9), RBI’s (38) and slugging percentage (.495)… Went 5-for-6 in stolen base attempts… Set Malone’s all-time record in triples in a season (9) and led the nation in three-baggers… Had a season-high five RBI’s on two different occasions… Went on a 14 game hitting streak, which was the highest on the team… Reached base 15 straight games, which was the third highest on the team… Had the best game of the season against Southwest Minn. St. (3/7/15) by going 4-for-7 at the plate, scoring four runs, five RBI’s and a triple.
