Biography

Prior to Malone: Martin was a three-sport athlete at local Lake High School, playing football, basketball and baseball. Martin was a running back, linebacker and even saw some time at quarterback for the Blue Streaks, as well as a standout first baseman on the baseball team. Martin batted .410 for Lake, the team leader in the category, and was named Second Team All-Ohio in Division I for baseball.
