Biography

2020: In a Coronavirus-shortened season, Maurer pitched in three games and made his first collegiate start for the Pioneers against Assumption (3/9/20)... Totaled 5.2 innings pitched, gave up six earned runs and struck out five.

Prior to Malone: Maurer attended local North Canton Hoover High School, where he led the Vikings to a District finals appearance in 2019 with a 17-12 record, 8-4 in the Federal League. Maurer pitched 50.2 innings and accounted for five victories, the team leader in both categories. Maurer was named All-Federal League Second team in his senior season.
