Biography

Prior to Malone: Kesel transferred from Urbana and went to Hillard Darby HS in Hillard, Ohio. At Urbana, Kesel started 51 of 52 games as a freshman in 2019 in the outfield. Kesel batted .255 with a .336 on-base percentage and had 49 putouts. Academically, Kesel was a Presidential Scholar and was on the Athletics Director's Honor Roll in 2019 and 2020. She served as a student ambassador and a leader of U-Knighted while at Urbana. Kesel won All-Conference honors in high school in her junior and senior seasons and was an All-District Honorable Mention as a junior. Kesel is studying Integrated Language Arts in the Education Department at Malone.
