2017: Smeyres made a team-high 24 relief appearances for the Pioneers, pitching a total of 33.0 innings…Posted a 3-3 record, nine saves, and a 1.09 ERA…Tallied 32 strikeouts and held opponents to a .159 batting average against…Did not yield and earned run  during a 14-game stretch spanning 24.1 innings late in the season…Matched a career-high with five strikeouts in 2.2 innings of scoreless relief in an elimination game victory against Trevecca Nazarene (5/12/17)…Led all G-MAC relievers in saves and ERA…Named G-MAC First Team All-Conference...Named NCBWA Second Team All-Midwest Region
