ALLIANCE, Ohio - The Malone University men's golf team won their second consecutive tournament to open the fall of 2026 with a team victory at the Mount Union Fall Invitational. The Pioneers matched their low round at Tannenhauf Golf Club from last week with a 6-under 282.

The B-Team combo of
Jaxon Rinkes and
Deagan Beaber tied for first-place with 2-under rounds of 70. Rinkes went 3-under in a bogey-free front nine and added two more birdies on the back for five in total. Beaber had four birdies on his scorecard.

Four players ended up in a tie for third, including the final two scoring members for Malone in
Alfie Craker and
Andrew Fredenburg. The two went 1-under 71 on Sunday afternoon with four birdies credited to Craker and three to Fredenburg.
Ryan Yoder was the fifth-man with a respectable score of 74 to finish in a tie for 13th. Yoder tallied two birdies.

The Pioneers are in action once again on Sunday, September 20 for the Mercyhurst Fall Invitational at the Lakeview Country Club.
