GREENVILLE, S.C. - For the second consecutive week, Jaxon Rinkes has been selected as the NCCAA Athlete of the Week presented by Athletic Solutions. It is his third career NCCAA Athlete of the Week award.
 
The senior from Carrollton, Ohio tied for the team lead and 19th overall at the University of Findlay's Doc Spragg Fall Invite. Rinkes shot a 1-under 71 in the first round and finished the 54-hole event at 2-over 218 (71-74-73). He had eight birdies and one eagle on his scorecard to help lead the Pioneers to a tenth-place finish as a team.
 
The second tournament of the week was the Phipps Memorial. Malone was victorious over rival Stark County schools, the University of Mount Union and Walsh University. Rinkes was the individual runner-up with a score of 73. He hit for birdie on three of the four par-5 holes and was even-par on the back nine.
 
The Pioneers conclude their fall season on October 24-25 at the Bill Crabtree Invitational hosted by Kentucky Wesleyan College.
