INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) has announced Jackson Phelps of the Malone University baseball team as the South Division Pitcher of the Week. It is his second Athlete of the Week award this season.
 
The senior from Medina, Ohio tossed a gem in game one of the series win against Ohio Dominican University. The Pioneers won 14-1 in seven innings thanks to a complete game from the right-hander where he allowed one unearned run and just one hit.
 
Phelps notched a career-high 12 strikeouts in what would be his final collegiate start for Malone. He got the Pioneers going in a 3-1 series win over the Panthers to close the season at 24-24 as a team.
