GRAPEVINE, Texas - Prior to the start of the 2026 NCCAA Softball Championship, the recipients of the Scholar-Athlete Award were unveiled. The Malone University softball team has seven members who were named Scholar-Athletes in 2026.
 
To receive the Scholar-Athlete award, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and hold at least a 3.40 cumulative grade point average.
 
The honorees from Pioneer softball are Halyn Cawthorne, Sidney Conti, Zoe Lesch, Amber Miller, Lacie Quarles, Emma Reese and Sydney Seaman.
