GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Malone University softball team dropped one spot to #8 in the NCCAA Coaches Poll, released on Tuesday afternoon.
The Pioneers are 20-12 overall and 4-6 since the last iteration of the poll was unveiled and are looking to boost their Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) resume in the coming weeks. Malone is one of the top pitching teams in the NCCAA with the fourth-lowest ERA at 2.86.

Summer McCaw each have a 2.05 ERA and are tied for fifth in the association as individuals.
Masyn Baker has led the team at the plate with a .333 batting average (7-for-21) over the last two weeks with two runs, two doubles and six RBIs.Â
Malone is in action once again on Wednesday, April 15 at Ashland University beginning at 3:00 P.M.
