LAKEWOOD, Ohio - The Malone University men's golf team finished the Tom Tontimonia Invitational in 12th-place. The Pioneers had their lowest score in round three with a 302 and concluded the tournament at 920 (314-304-302) as the only NCAA Division II school in attendance. The Dayton University Flyers won the three-round event at 853 (285-284-284).

Jaxon Rinkes (77-74-76) and
Alexander Eckstein (76-77-74) tied for the lowest team scores at 227. Rinkes had 13 pars and nothing worse than a bogey on Tuesday. Eckstein had the lowest round three score for the Pioneers with a 1-over front nine and two birdies in total.

Deagan Beaber had two birdies as well en route to a final tally of 230 (78-75-77).
Brady Johnson scored a 240 (87-78-75) with a much-improved third round and
Gage Bonifant a 249 (83-86-80). As the individual scorer,
Fletcher Cravens concluded play at 236 (80-77-79).

Malone returns to the course on Monday, October 12 for the Doc Spragg Fall Invite hosted by the University of Findlay.
